Convoy for classic commercial owners

This event was organised by Guy Spurr, Dave Goodall and Andrew Ballymore and held on Saturday 9th June 2007. It was the second time the event had been held after the very successful inaugural event last year.

Everyone who took part met outside the Te Puke Vintage Auto Barn from 10:00am where a static display was held until 11:30 am. After a short driver briefing the Convoy headed out on a road run to Lake Rotoma where more Classic vehicles joined before heading off once more where the last stop was for lunch at the Matata Pub.

This year nearly double the amount of classic vehicles turned out for the day with 33 Classic rigs showing up. There were rigs from as far away as Thames and Auckland.
