This very cool Kenworth K108 8x4 tractor unit works for Blue Ice Logistics and is owned by Allied Truck Force of Palmerston North. Powered by a 550hp C15 CAT engine the quad quad unit hauls refridgerated produce over much of the North Island and is driven by Paul aka 'Needle'.
The big Kenny has been fitted with offset alloys, 6" stacks, clear lenses on the roof marker lights and a huge drop visor made by Shaun Dicke a.k.a. "Buckweed" of New Plymouth. Inside there is double buttoned trim interior, TV and radar detector. Other eXtras include blue KW emblems on the side air vents to match the Blue Ice Logistics livery.
After only 2 months and 45 000km Paul says the Kenworth handles well with improved suspension over the previous model. Big thanks to Paul for his time.
