Paddy Kake has been driving trucks for 30 years now and still loves it and who wouldn't when you're the proud owner of this magnificent Mack Trident. Paddy purchased the rig in 2004 and now it has nearly 200,000km on the clock. The truck is powered by a 490hp Mack engine which handles the hauling of Veneer board from Marsden Point to Auckland daily on a 3-axle flat deck trailer with ease.

Paddy does a lot of his driving at night hence all the marker lights covering this enormous rig. With marker lights mounted on both sides of the air cleaners, the bumper, plate, rear of cab and sides the rig is a spectacular sight to see at night.

The towering 6" stacks, raised chrome air intakes, polished fuel tanks, chrome off-set wheels and loads of stainless steel ensure that the rig still shines during the day. The truck has featured in an Australian Mack calendar, won awards at Shows and was a crowd favourite at the outside display at the recent National Truck Model Show in Whangarei.

Using a computer to aid him in the look he desired for the truck, Paddy has managed to put together a rig seen during the day or at night, is nothing short of spectacular. Big thanks to Paddy for his time and allowing us to feature his pride and joy.
