For an event which wasn't widely publicised the 'Valley Truck Show ' held in the small town of Ngatea was a big success. Over eighty trucks turned up on the 4th March and shortly after 10am a convoy rolled down the main street of Ngatea with the trucks ending up at the town domain.

As well as the lineup of trucks on display there were also events like tarp tying and rides for kids in trucks. With proceeds going to a charity the event was well supported by the local and wider communities.
